Translationof the lord shall inspire round about them that fear/ him: and shall deliver them./ Taste and see that the lord is sweet:/ blessed is the man who hopes in him./ Fear the lord all the holy ones:/ because there is no poverty to them that fear him./ The rich have been in want and have been hungry: but they that seek/ the lord shall not be reduced of all good./ Come children hear me: I will teach you the fear of the lord./ Who is the man that desires life:/ he loves to see good days./ Prevent your tongue from evil:/ and your lips from speaking deceit./ Turn away from evil and do good:/ seek after peace and pursue it./ The eyes of the lord upon the just: and his ears to their prayers./ But the countenance of the lord is against them that do evil:/ to destroy their memory from the earth./ |
