Translationand direct the works of our hands over us:/ and direct right the work of our hands./Psalm 90 You shall walk upon the asp and the basilisk HE WHO LIVES/ in the help of the most/ high: shall dwell in the protection of the god of heaven./ He shall say to the lord/ you are my protector:/ and my refuge:/ my god in him I will hope./ Because he has delivered me from the hunters’ snare:/ and from the sharp word./ he shall screen you with his shoulders:/ and you shall hope under his wings. His truth shall surround you with a shield:/ you shall be not afraid of the terror of the night./ Of the arrow flying in the day/ of the dealings afoot in darkness:/ of invasion and the midday evil spirit./ |
