TranslationPsalm 118:21[on book:You have rebuked the proud: they are cursed] REPAY / your servant invigorate me: and I shall keep/ your words./ Unveil my eyes:/ and I shall consider/ the marvellous things of your law./ I am a resident/ on the earth: do not hide your commandments from me./ My soul has coveted: to long for your just-dealings at all times./ You have rebuked the proud: they are cursed who turn aside/ from your commandments./ Take from me reproach and contempt:/ because I have sought after your testimonies./ For princes sat and they spoke against me:/ but your servant was practised in your just-dealings./ For both your testimonies are my contemplation:/ and your just-dealings my counsel./ |
