TranslationThe sharp arrows of the mighty:/ with hot coals that lay waste./ Woe to me that my residence is prolonged:/ I have dwelt with the inhabitants of caedar my soul has been a resident too long./ With those who hated peace I was peaceable:/ when I spoke to them they fought against me without cause./Psalm 120 My help comes from the lord. [on book: I have lifted my eyes] I HAVE LIFTED UP / my eyes to the mountains/ from where my help shall come./ My help is from the lord:/ who made heaven and earth/. May he not let your foot be moved:/ neither let him slumber who guards you./ The lord is your guardian the lord is your protection:/ on your right hand./ The sun shall not burn you by day:/ nor the moon by night./ |
