Psalm: 31
Iconography: The psalmist is twisted and crouching at the bottom of the initial, being trampled on by two sinners. I am turned around in my trouble.. deliver me from them that surround me. Above, Christ sits with a goad in his hand, and with two bridles clamps the jaws of frantically writhing sinners. With halter and bridle fetter their jaws: who do not come near to you. Many are the lashes of the sinner.
