TranslationMy god his way is undefiled:/ the words of the lord are tried by fire:/ he is the protector of all who trust in him./ For who is god but the lord:/ or who is god but our lord./ God who has surrounded me with strength: and/ made my way blameless./ Who made my feet like those of stags:/ and who set me upon heights./ Who teaches my hands to battle:/ and you have made my arms like a bow of bronze./ And you have given me the protection of your salvation:/ and your right hand held me up./ And your discipline has corrected me unto the end:/ and your discipline the same shall teach me./ You have enlarged my steps beneath me:/ and my footsteps are not weakened./ I will pursue my enemies and overtake them:/ and I will not turn back until they fail./ I will break them neither shall they be able to stand:/ they shall fall underneath my feet./ And you have girded me [with] strength to battle: and/ |
