Translationand has not given my feet to be moved./ Because you have proved us god: by fire you have tried us/ as silver is tried./ You have brought us into a snare: you have laid afflic/tions on our back you have set men/ upon our heads./ We have passed through fire and water: and you have brought us out into refreshment./ I will go into your house with burnt offerings:/ I will pay you my vows which my lips have distinguished./ And my mouth has spoken: in my affliction. Burnt offerings of marrow will I offer to you with burnt offerings/ of rams: I will offer to you oxen with he-goats./ Come hear and I will tell all you who fear god:/ what great things he has done for my soul./ To him have I cried with my mouth:/ and have exalted under my tongue./ If I have beheld injustice in my heart:/ our lord will not hear./ Therefore god has heard:/ and has attended to the voice of my supplication./ Blessed be god: who has not removed my prayer/ |
