TranslationBecause the thought of man shall confess to you:/ and the remains of the thought shall keep holiday to you./ Vow and pay to the lord your god:/ all you that are round about him bring gifts./ To him who is terrifying and him who takes away the spirit of princes/ to the terrible with the kings of the earth.Psalm 76 In the day of my trouble I have cried to the lord WITH MY VOICE: to god with my voice/ and he turned to me./ In the day of my trouble/ I sought out god/ with my hands: in the night before him and I was not deceived./ My soul refused to be comforted:/ I remembered god and was delighted:/ and was exercised and my spirit fainted away./ My eyes anticipated the watches:/ I was troubled and spoke not./ |
