Translation

And he turned his storm into a breeze:/ and its the waves were still./ And they rejoiced because they were still:/ and he led them away to the haven they wished for:/ Let the mercies of the lord acknowledge him and his marvellous works to the children of men./ And let them exalt him in the church of the people:/ and praise him in the chair of the elders./ He turned the rivers into a desert:/ and the sources of waters into dry ground./ The fruitful land into salty ground:/ for the wickedness of those that dwell in it./ He turned the desert into pools of water:/ and the land without water into water springs./ And he placed the hungry there:/ and they built a city for dwelling in./ And they sowed fields and planted vineyards:/ and they made a fruitful yield./ And he blessed them and they were multiplied exceedingly:/ and he did not let their beasts decrease./ And they were made few and were afflicted:/ by trouble of evils and sorrow./
