TranslationDeuteronomy 32:1The Canticle of Moses to the sons of Israel Hear HEAR HEAVENS the things that I speak: let the earth hear the words of my mouth./ Let my instruction gather like the rain: my eloquence distil like dew./ As a shower upon the grass: and like drops upon the herb./ Because I will call upon the name of the lord./ Ascribe greatness to our god: the works of god are perfect: and all his ways are judgements./ God is faithful and without any iniquity: he is just and right they have sinned against him: and are not his children in [their] filth./ [They are] a wicked and perverse generation: is this the return you make to the lord: foolish and senseless people: is not he your father that has possessed you: and made you and created you: Remember the days of old: think upon every generation./ Ask your father and he will tell you: |
