TranslationKöln, Museum Schnütgen, M694, verso your servants of
the holy mother of the lord the virgin mary. and of all your saints/ everywhere
watch over us with your protection even those neither joined to us by
friendship or blood ties./ having repelled all the deceiving tricks of
the enemy from the whole christian people. Concede to them their return
to their original heavenly home. And moreover/ make fruitful the souls
of the faithful dead reborn through the waves of holy baptism in eternal
rest/ through the same lord our God./ |
