TranslationThey are tied up and have fallen:/ but we have risen and are set upright./ Lord save the king: and hear us/ in the day that we shall call upon you./Psalm 20 You have put on his head a crown of precious stones LORD IN YOUR STRENGTH/ the king shall be glad:/ and in your salvation/ he shall rejoice eagerly./ You have given to him; his heart’s desire:/ and of the wish/ of his lips/ you have not cheated him./ Because you have anticipated him in blessings/ of sweetness: you have put on his head a crown/ of precious stones./ He sought life of you and you have given to him: length/ of days for ever and for ever./ his glory is great in your salvation: glory/ and great beauty shall you lay upon him./ |
