Translationwhile I pray to you: while I lift up my hands/ to your holy temple./ Do not commit me together with sinners: and with/ the workers of iniquity do not destroy me./ Who speak peace with their neighbour:/ but evils in their hearts./ Give to them according to their works: and according to the badness / of their inventions./ Give to them according to the works of their hands:/ render them their retribution./ Because they have not understood the works of the lord and in the works of / his hands you shall destroy them and you shall not construct them./ Blessed be the lord: because he has heard the voice of my prayer./ The lord is my helper and my protector: and in him/ my heart has hoped and I was helped./ And my flesh has flourished again: and with my will/ I will acknowledge him. The Lord is the strength of his people: and the protector/ of the salvation of his anointed./ Lord save your people and bless your in/heritance and rule them and exalt them for ever./ |
