TranslationPsalm 32Rejoice in the lord O you just REJOICE/ in the lord you just: praising becomes/ the virtuous./ Acknowledge the lord/ on the lute: on the psalt/erium of ten strings/ play to him./ Sing to him a new song:/ play the lute well to him with loud cry./ For the word of the lord is virtuous:/ and all of his works in faith./ He loves mercy and judgement:/ the earth is full of the mercy of the lord./ by the word of the lord the heavens were fortified:/ and all the power of them by the breath of his mouth./ Gathering together the waters of the sea as in a glass bottle:/ laying the depths in storehouses./ Let all the earth fear the lord: but let all the inhabitants of the world be moved by him./ Because he spoke and they were made:/ he commanded and they were created./ |
