TranslationHope in the lord and do good: and dwell in/ the land and you shall be fed in the riches thereof./ Be delighted in the lord: and he will give to you/ the requests of your heart./ Uncover your way to the lord:/ and hope in him and he will do it./ And he will bring forth your justice as light:/ and your judgement as midday:/ be put under the lord and pray to him./ Have no emulation in him who prospers in his way: in the man who does injustices./ Abandon wrath and forsake fury:/ do not emulate that you be ill- natured./ Because they that are ill-natured will be driven out:/ but they that support the lord shall inherit the land./ And as yet in a very little while the sinner shall not exist:/ and you shall seek his place and not find it./ But the meek shall inherit the earth:/ and shall be delighted in the multitude of peace./ The sinner shall watch the just:/ and he shall shriek upon him with his teeth./ But the lord shall laugh at him:/ |
