TranslationPsalm 48Hear these things all nations HEAR THESE THINGS/ all nations:/ gather in with ears/ all that in/habit the world./ All who are earth-born/ and children of men:/ in one/ the rich and the poor./ My mouth shall speak/ wisdom:/ and the meditation of my heart prudence./ I will bend my ear unto a parable:/ I will open my purpose on a psalterium./ Why shall I fear in the evil day:/ the wickedness of my heel shall surround me./ They that trust in their strength: and glory in the multitude of their riches./ A brother does not redeem shall man redeem:/ he shall not give to god his reconciliation./ And the price of redemption of his own soul:/ |
