Translationhe will confess to you when you shall do good to him./ He shall enter in even to the generations of his fathers:/ and he shall not see light for ever./ Man when he was in honour did not understand:/ he was compared to beasts without understanding:/ and made like to them./Psalm 49 The god of gods, the lord [has] spoken THE GOD OF GODS THE LORD/ has spoken and has call/ed the earth./ From the rising of the sun/ even to the going down: out of sion/ the beauty of his comeliness./ God clearly/ will come: our god/ and he will not keep silence./ Fire shall burn forth in his sight:/ and round about him a powerful tempest./ He shall summon the heaven from above:/ and the earth to distinguish between his people./ Gather together his holy ones unto him:/ |
