TranslationBut he chose the tribe of iuda:/ mount sion which he loved./ And he built his sanctuary as of unicorns:/ in the land which he has founded forever./ And he chose his servant david:/ and took him from the flocks of sheep/ he took him from behind the ewes./ To feed iacob his servant:/ and israhel his inheritance./ And he fed them in the innocence of his heart:/ and he conducted them by the skilfulness of his hands./Psalm 78 God the nations are come GOD the nations ARE COME/ into your inheritance: they have defiled/ your holy temple:/ they have set aside ierusulem./ They have set aside the carcasses/ of your servants as food for the fowls of the air:/ |
