Translationand let the name of israhel be remembered no more./ Because they have devised with one consent./ they have together made an agreement against you:/ the tents of the idumeians and the ismahelites./ Moab and the agarens gebal and amon and amalech the foreigners with the inhabitants of tyrum./ In fact the assur is also come with them:/ they are become an aid to the children of loth./ Do to them like to the madian and sysarae:/ like to iabin at the rushing river of cyson./ They perished in endor: they became like dung for the earth./ Lay aside their princes like oreb:/ and zeb and zebae and salmana./ All their princes: who have said let us possess the sanctuary of god for an inheritance:/ My god lay them aside like a wheel:/ like stubble before the face of the wind./ Like fire which burns the wood:/ and like a flame that burns the mountains./ So shall you pursue them with your storm:/ and in your wrath you shall throw them into confusion./ |
