TranslationBlessed is the man whose help is from you:/ in his heart he has arranged ascent:/ in the valley of tears in the place which he has appointed./ In fact the lawgiver shall give blessing:/ they shall go from virtue to virtue:/ the god of gods shall be seen in syon./ Lord god of hosts hear my prayer:/ god of iacob receive with your ear./ Behold god our protector:/ and look on the face of your anointed./ Because one day in your courts is better:/ than thousands./ I have chosen to be contemptible in the house of my god:/ rather than to dwell in the tents/ of sinners./ Because god loves mercy and truth:/ the lord will give grace and glory./ He will not deprive those of good things who walk in innocence: lord of hosts/ blessed is the man who hopes in you./ |
