neither will I harm my truth./ Neither will I desecrate my agreement:/ and I will not invalidate/ the words that proceed from my mouth./ Once I have sworn in my holy place. If I lie to david/ his seed shall continue for ever./ And his throne like the sun before me:/ and perfect forever like the moon:/ and a faithful witness in heaven./ But you have rejected and despised:/ you have disquieted your anointed one./ You have overthrown the agreement of your servant:/ you have desecrated his sanctuary on the earth./ You have destroyed all its hedges:/ you have made fear his support./ All that pass by the way have robbed him:/ he is become a reproach to his neighbours./ You have exalted the right hand of those who oppress him:/ you have made all his enemies joyful./ You have turned away the help of his sword:/ and have not assisted him in battle./ You have destroyed his purification:/
