TranslationBecause all the gods of the nations are devils:/ but the lord made the heavens./ Praise and beauty are in his sight:/ holiness and splendour in his sanctuary./ Bring yourselves to our lord you families of nations:/ bring glory and honour to the lord:/ bring glory to the lord’s name./ Take up sacrifices and enter into his courts:/ adore the lord in his holy court./ Let all the earth be moved before his presence:/ say among the nations that the lord has reigned./ For he has corrected the world which shall not be moved:/ he will judge the people with justice./ Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice:/ and the sea and all that fills it be moved:/ the fields shall be glad and all the trees of the woods:/ before the face of the lord because he comes:/ because he comes to judge the earth./ He will judge the world in justice:/ and the people with his truth./ |
