TranslationPsalm 96Let all who adore graven images be thrown into disorder THE LORD HAS REIGNED/ let the earth rejoice:/ let many islands be glad./ Cloud and mist [are] round about him:/ justice and judgement/ [are] the improvement of his throne./ Fire shall/ go before him and shall set his enemies on fire round about./ His lightning shone out to the world:/ the earth saw and was agitated./ The mountains melted like wax before the face of the lord:/ before the face of the lord of all the earth./ The heavens declared his justice:/ and all the people have seen his glory./ Let all who adore graven images be thrown into disorder: and/ those who glory in their idols./ Adore him all you his angels:/ sion heard and was glad./ And the daughters of iuda rejoiced:/ because of your judgements lord./ [The page containing Psalm 96:9-12, the initial and the whole of Psalm 97 has been cut out] |
