Translationand was polluted with their works:/ and they were destroyed in their inventions./ And the lord was passionately angry with his people:/ and he detested his inheritance./ And he delivered them into the hands of the nations:/ and those who hated them ruled over them./ And their enemies afflicted them: and they were humb/led under their hands often he delivered them./ But they provoked him with their counsel:/ and they were brought low by their iniquities./ And he saw when they were troubled:/ and he heard their prayer./ And he remembered his agreement and he repented/ according to the great number of his mercies./ And he gave them to mercies:/ in the sight of all those who had captured them./ Save us lord our god:/ and gather us from among the nations./ That we may acknowledge your holy name:/ and may glory in your praise./ Blessed be the lord the god of israhel forever and forever:/ and all the people shall say be it be it./ |
