TranslationPsalm 108They have spoken against me with deceitful tongues GOD do not nothing about/ MY PRAISE: because the mouth of the sinner and the mouth of the deceitful man:/ is opened against me./ They have spoken against/ me with deceitful tongues:/ they have surrounded/ me with words of hatred: and they have conquered me without cause./ Instead of loving me they disparaged me:/ but I prayed./ And they set against me evil for good:/ and hatred for my love./ Appoint a sinner over him:/ and may the devil stand at his right hand./ When he is judged let him come out condemned:/ and may his prayer be turned to sin./ May his days be few:/ and let another take his bishopric./ May his children be orphans: and his wife a widow./ |

Transcriptionlocuti sunt adversu[m] me lingua dolosaD[EU]S LAUDE[M] MEA[M] / ne tacueris: quia os / peccatoris et os dolosi / sup[er] me apertum est. / Locuti sunt adv[er]su[m] / me lingua dolosa: / et sermonib[us] odii / circumdederunt / me: et expugnaverunt me gratis. / Pro eo ut me diligerent detrahebant michi: / ego autem orabam. / Et posuerunt adversum me mala pro bonis: / et odium p[ro] dilectione mea. / Constitue sup[er] eum peccatorem: / et diabolus stet a dextris eius: / C[um] iudicatur exeat condempnatus: / et oratio eius fiat in peccatum. / Fiant dies eius pauci: / et episcopatu[m] eius accipiat alter. / Fiant filii ei[us] orphani: et uxor ei[us] vidua. / |
