TranslationPsalm 117Open for me the gates of justice [on book: This is the gate of the lord the just] ACKNOWLEDGE / the lord because he is good:/ because his mercy/ is forever./ Let israhel now say/ that he is good:/ that his mercy is forever./ Let the house of aaron now say:/ that his mercy is forever./ Let them who fear the lord now say:/ that his mercy is forever./ In trouble I called upon the lord:/ and the lord heard me in largesse./ The lord is my helper: I will not fear what man can do to me./ The lord is my helper: and I will look down on my enemies./ It is good to trust in the lord:/ rather than to trust in man./ It is good to hope in the lord:/ rather than to hope in princes./ All the nations have surrounded me:/ |
