Translationbecause I have hoped in your words./ And do not take the word of truth comp/letely out of my mouth because I have hoped exceedingly in your judgements./ So shall I always keep your law:/ forever and ever./ And I have walked at large:/ because I have sought after your commandments./ And I spoke of your testimonies before/ kings: and I was not ashamed./ And I contemplated: in your commandments which I loved./ And I have lifted up my hands to your commandments that/ I loved: and I was practised in your just-dealings./Psalm 118: 54 Your just dealings were the subject of my song [on book: in the place of my pilgrimage] REMEMBER/ your word to your servant:/in which you have given me hope./ This has comforted/ me in my humiliation: because your eloquence/ has invigorated me./ The proud acted/ |
