TranslationWho brings forth the winds out of his storehouses:/ who killed the first born of aegypt from man/ even to beast./ He sent forth signs and wonders in the midst of aegypt:/ upon the pharoah and upon all his servants./ Who killed many nations:/ and slew strong kings./ Seon the king of the amorreor and og the king of basan:/ and all the kingdoms of chanaan./ And he gave their land for inheritance:/ for an inheritance to his people israhel./ Lord your name is forever: your/ memorial lord to generation and generation./ Because the lord shall judge his people:/ and will be entreated in favour of his servants./ The idols of the nations are silver and gold:/ the works of men’s hands./ They have mouths but shall not speak:/ they have eyes but shall not see./ They have ears but shall not hear:/ neither is there breath in their mouths./ Let those who make them become like them./ |
