Translationand pined away because of your enemies./ I hated them with perfect hatred:/ they are become enemies to me./ Test me god and know my heart:/ examine me and know my paths./ And see if the way of wickedness is in me:/ and lead me in the everlasting way./Psalm 139 They have sharpened their tongues DELIVER ME LORD/ from the evil man:/ rescue me from the unjust man./ Who have devised/ wickedness in their heart:/ all the day long they organis/ed battles./ They have sharpened their tongues/ like a serpent./ The venom of asps is under their lips./ Guard me lord from the hand of the sinner:/ and deliver me from unjust men./ Who have devised to trip up my steps:/ |
