Translation

and pined away because of your enemies./ I hated them with perfect hatred:/ they are become enemies to me./ Test me god and know my heart:/ examine me and know my paths./ And see if the way of wickedness is in me:/ and lead me in the everlasting way./


Psalm 139
They have sharpened their tongues

DELIVER ME LORD/ from the evil man:/ rescue me from the unjust man./ Who have devised/ wickedness in their heart:/ all the day long they organis/ed battles./ They have sharpened their tongues/ like a serpent./ The venom of asps is under their lips./ Guard me lord from the hand of the sinner:/ and deliver me from unjust men./ Who have devised to trip up my steps:/

et sup[er] inimicos tuos tabescebam. / Perfecto odio oderam illos: / inimici facti sunt michi. / Proba me d[eu]s et scito cor meum: / interroga me et cognosce semitas meas. / Et vide si via iniq[u]itatis in me est: / et deduc me in via aet[er]na. /
Acuerunt lingua[s] sua[s]
ERIPE ME D[OMI]NE / ab homine malo: / a viro iniq[u]o eripe me. / Qui cogitaver[un]t / iniq[u]itates in corde: / tota die constitu/ebant pr[a]elia. / Acuerunt linguas / suas sic[ut] serpentes: / venenum aspidum sub labiis eor[um]. / Custodi me d[omi]ne de manu peccatoris: / ab hominib[us] iniq[u]is eripe me. / Qui cogitaver[un]t supplantare gressus meos: /
