Psalm 140:3
Lord place a watch on my mouth
[on book: let my prayer be counted]

LORD I HAVE CRIED / to you hear me:/ turn to my voice/ when I shall cry to you./ Let my prayer be counted/ as incense in your sig/ht: the lifting up/ of my hands/ as evening sacrifice./ Lord set a watch to my mouth:/ and a door round about my lips./ Do not turn aside my heart to evil words:/ to make excuses in sins./ With men who work wickedness:/ and I will not communicate with the chosen one of them./ The just shall reproach me in mercy and shall rebuke/ me: but do not let the oil of the sinner anoint my head./ Because my prayer also [shall still be] against those things with which they are well pleased:/ their judges are swallowed up joined to a rock./ They shall hear my words because they have prevailed: as/ the grossness of the earth is broken up upon the ground./
