TranslationPsalm 145His spirit shall go forth and he shall return to his earth MY SOUL PRAISE/ the lord I will praise the lord/ throughout my life: I will play the lyre to my god/ as long as I shall live./ Do not put trust in princes: nor/ in the sons of men in whom there is no salvation./ His spirit shall go forth and he shall return to his earth:/ in that day all their thoughts shall perish./ Blessed is he whose help is the god of iacob:/ his hope in the lord his god who made heaven and earth:/ the sea and all things that are in them./ Who keeps truth forever: executes judgement/ for those who suffer wrong: gives food to the hungry./ The lord releases the fettered: the lord enlightens the blind./ The lord lifts up the crushed: the lord loves the just./ |
