TranslationIn the midst of the years you shall make it known: you will remember mercy when you are angry./ God will come from the south: and the holy one from mount pharan./ His glory covered the heavens: and the earth is full of his praise./ His brightness shall be like the light: horns are in his hands./ There is his strength concealed: death shall go before his face./ The devil shall go out before his feet he stood and measured the earth./ He examined and destroyed the nations: and the ancient mountains were crumbled./ The hills of the world were bowed down: by the ways of his eternity./ In return for their wickedness I saw the tents of the aethiopians the tents of the land of maian shall be disturbed./ Were you angry lord with the rivers: or was your displeasure upon the sea: Who will climb upon your horses: and your chariots of salvation./ |
