Translationand the time makes haste to come./ The Lord will judge his people: and will have mercy on his servants./ He shall see that [their] hand is weakened: and those who were shut up have also failed and they who remained are consumed./ And he shall say where are their gods: in whom they had trust./ They ate the fat of the victims: and drank the wine of their offerings./ Let them arise and help you: and protect you in your need./ See that I am alone: and there is no other god besides me./ I will kill and I will make live: I will strike and I will heal: and there is none who can rescue out of my hand./ I will lift up my hand to heaven: and I will say I live for ever. If I shall sharpen my sword as lightning: and my hands appropriate judgement./ I will deliver revenge to my enemies: and repay those who hate me./ I will make my arrows drunk with blood: |
