TranslationPsalm 72For my heart has been inflamed HOW GOOD/ is god to israhel: to them/ that are of an upright heart./ But my feet were almost moved:/ my steps almost straggled./ Because I have zeal upon/ the wicked seeing the serenity of sinners./ Because there is no regard for their death:/ and support in their wounds./ They are not in the labours of men:/ and with men they shall not be scourged./ Therefore has pride held them:/ they are covered with their injustice and impiety./ Their injustice has proceeded as it were approved of:/ they have passed into the affection of the heart./ They have thought and have spoken wickedness:/ they have spoken iniquity on high./ They have set their mouth into heaven:/ and their tongue has passed through the earth./ |
